The company controls Beijing Nonfferrous Metal Exploration and Cons-truction Co., Ltd. with holding of overwhel-ming majority of shares, which has been issued with qualification as Grade One Construction Enterprises by the Ministry of Construction, and now, it is mainly involved in drilling projects and basic construction projects at home and abroad. Driling is the main oper-ational advantages of this company, and in recent years, it has undertaken drilling project of Qian Bi Xi Copper Mine, Z-ambia at annual process of 13,0-00m, the entire drilling project of Xinjiang No.305 Project from Japanese Mitsui &Co., the drilling project of nearly 100,0-00m of Shananxi Baguamiao Gold Mine from Australian Placer Dome, as well as the exploration drilling project at the depth of 40,000m of Qinghai Xitieshan form the domestic Wes-tern Mining Company and geological drilling project of Qinghai Nonferrous Metal Geological Survey Bureau. It aims at becoming a domestic enterprise of the state-of-art drilling apparatus, drilling technologies and management, as well as the flagship of the drilling enterprise of the cou-ntry. At the same time, it also undertake the implementation of various capital construction, and with several sets of imported revolving drillers and construc-tion equipment of various roads and bridge earthworks, it has participated in the construction of several key national projects, such as Qinghai-Tibet Rail-way and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, with its construction projects reaching the Philippines, Mongolia, Zambia and other countries.
